Investigate Accommodation Options for Guests
Investigate and select a range of suitable accommodation for your guests. Ensure you find accommodation that caters for all budgets.

Ask hotels if they will offer a special rate for your guests.

Confirm what date your guests must book by to secure accommodation.

Determine if a deposit must be paid. Will this deposit be refundable if a guest does not use the accommodation?

Determine if a hotel will be willing to put information in your guests' rooms e.g. welcome letters & gifts.

Decide if you will book accommodation on your guests' behalf or ask your guests to book their own accommodation.

If your guests are going to book their own accommodation, compile a list of recommended hotels to go in their information pack. Be sure to mention any special rates and booking reference codes.

Ask the hotel if they provide airport transfers. Provide your guests with this information in their information pack.

Determine where you guests are staying & when they arrive and depart.

Plan Wedding Day Itinerary
Plan the order of your wedding day.
It is really important that you have a timetable for your wedding day. You and your guests will need to know what should happen when. If you are not using a Wedding Planner or Tour Operator it is an idea to hand over the responsibility to a guest – this way they can ensure everything happens when and how it should as you don’t want to be worrying about this on your wedding day.

Here's some tips: For changing name after wedding

Step 1
Print out a change of name form from the Social Security website (see Resources below). Fill out the form after printing it out.

 Step 2
Go to your local Social Security office. Take the completed form, marriage license, driver's license (or a valid photo identification) and Social Security card with you. You will be issued a temporary Social Security card.

Step 3
Go to your state's department of motor vehicles to change the name on your driver's license. Bring the temporary Social Security card, marriage license and current driver's license.

Step 4
Contact your credit card companies, banks, vehicle registration department and companies you do business with, to notify them of the name change. Some may require you complete their own forms.

Step 5
Obtain and complete a Passport Amendment/Validation Application. Send this along with appropriate fees, your current passport(s), and a certified documentation of your name change (such as a certified copy of a marriage certificate or court papers) to the nearest passport agency.

Step 6
Order replacements for checks, business cards, credit cards and other documents that contain your old name.

Step 7
Call employers and schools (if you are a student) to let them know your new name, and ask them to change it in their records.

Step 8
Change your name on your car registration, with your insurance and mortgage companies, and with your frequent-flier program.

 Step 9
Contact the post office, utility companies and registrar of voters.

 If you have not established citizenship with the Social Security office, take along a proof of citizenship.

 Don't assume changing your driver's license to reflect your new name will change the name on your vehicle registration. You will need to do this separately.

 Order extra certified copies of your marriage certificate for agencies that require originals before allowing you to change your name on documents, such as the department of motor vehicles.
